Chef runs on Cuban food and Miami sun, and the mojito — rum, lime, and mint — is the drink that belongs beside the cubano. A suggested pairing to match the truck's menu, not a scene from the film.

Ingredients

2 oz white rum
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar (or ½ oz simple syrup)
8–10 fresh mint leaves
Soda water, to top

Method

In a tall glass, gently muddle the mint with the sugar and lime juice — press, don't shred.
Add the rum and fill the glass with crushed or cubed ice.
Top with soda water and stir once.
Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
