Silver Linings is the film's gentlest character beat disguised as a punchline: Wonka's delight isn't really about the chocolate, it's about giving Noodle — who has never once been given anything — a first taste of something good. The "condensed thunder clouds and liquid sunlight" line is pure Wonka nonsense, but the marbled dark-and-pale look actually sells the image. It's a small chocolate for a small, quietly enormous moment.

Method
- Whip the cream to soft peaks and fold in the cocoa powder to make a pale, cloud-grey swirl.
- Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly so it holds a swirl without running.
- Spoon the chocolate into small cups or onto parchment, then marble in the cocoa cream ("thunder cloud") and the cooled caramel ("liquid sunlight") with a toothpick, dragging for a streaked, storm-and-sun pattern.
- Chill until set. Finish with a scatter of flaky salt.
- Serve to someone who's never had chocolate before, if you can find one. Everyone else will just have to imagine the reaction.
