The Chocolate Garden is Wonka's shop at its most purely joyful: a display case built like a florist's window, except everything in it — mushrooms, pears, flowers, even the basket the customer carries it home in — is chocolate. It's the film's cleanest distillation of Wonka's whole ethos, generosity dressed as showmanship, and the "spendable or edible?" line is the gag that gives it away: at Wonka's shop, even the change is a treat. Building your own version is a genuine confectioner's project, but the payoff — a basket you can eat down to the handle — is worth the fuss.

Method
- Temper the dark chocolate and pipe or pour it into mushroom molds; do the same with white chocolate for pear and flower shapes. Chill until fully set, then unmold carefully.
- Dust the mushroom caps with a little cocoa for a mottled, earthy look. Blush the pear shapes and flower petals with edible petal dust for a natural gradient.
- Assemble the shapes into a small edible "garden" — mushrooms clustered at the base, pears standing upright, flowers scattered on top.
- For the basket: brush or dip layers of tempered chocolate over a small balloon (or into a basket-weave mold), chill until firm, then carefully remove the balloon and trim the rim clean.
- Fill the finished basket with the garden pieces and serve the whole thing — basket included. No fine print required this time.
