Food Notes
Jane runs a real bakery-café, not just a home kitchen — the film treats her bread and pastry counter (with head baker Reynaldo behind it) as a working business, not a hobby, and much of the film's food happens on that job.
Granola is a plot-adjacent detail, not a dish. Jake mentions missing Jane's homemade granola — she notes, dryly, that it also sells for $6.50 a bag at the bakery — but it's never shown being made or eaten on screen, just talked about.
Chicken soup on trays. In one hotel-room morning-after scene, Jane and Jake eat chicken soup off room-service trays while watching Oprah in their robes — a cozy, unglamorous detail rather than a dish specific enough to reconstruct on its own.
Breakfast, generically. A later morning scene shows "toast, bacon, coffee, a side of fruit" laid out — a standard spread, not a single identifiable dish.
